Do things happen for a reason? Or just intentionally? Opportunities don't just show up unexpectedly, they are given to you for your greater being. They are handed to you on a silver platter the only thing standing between it and you is your head. What does your head say? What does your heart say? Ask yourself if you were given the opportunity of a lifetime, would you take it? If you knew it was a bad and self-centered thing to do, why bother taking it? A simple act like that could turn your life up-side-down. Some opportunities mean leaving something or even someone in the dust. If the opportunity is like the selfish one, think, "How will this take effect on my life? Will taking the opportunity mean leaving the people I love?" If the answers to these are negative, then you probably shouldn't take the chance, but don't worry, another opportunity will stroll on by, and who knows, maybe this time it will be one that you can say yes to.

  1. Sometimes it is difficult to recognize an opportunity. What make look like a coincidence may be something that could lead to something important. You have to be looking. I think this is the important piece - noticing.
